I've always wholeheartedly believed that I was only a little more naive than others. Not until recently did it dawn on me that 'naive' is defined as pure stupidity in others' perspective. And it's probably worthless and insignificant to certain people. I should thank god for lifting that blind off my eyes, but I would appreciate a subtle revelation. We've seen our fair share of separation, I thought it could desensitize the heartache we feel when people leave. So why am I still painstakingly, in my futile attempt, trying to alleviate this disappointment? I know. I simply can't accept the fact that I've been painting this perfect illusion right from the start, single-handedly. Blessing in disguise I'd say, if there was ever something good I could ever get out of all these shit.

Then, my usual patron of trouble - Netball. Cut to the chase. From the most bottom of my heart, I don't find the team's strategy (or you may call it her strategy) useful/effective. BUT, she is not realizing it. Therein lies the problem. I'm wasting my time preparing for A divs which is coming in three days time by practising in something that CANNOT work. It's like misplaced faith. I've just got to persist and carry on in this mistake and cross my fingers to pray that it'll carry us somewhere, far enough.

I'm drained by what's going on all around me. I'll never find a satisfied answer as to why life is such a bitch.

I hate this stupid phase called the block test. Like just one year ago at this hell time, I was enjoying my damn March holidays and wondered how were the seniors coping with their block tests and before I know anything, block test is like tomorrow. OH MY GOD. I think before I could come to any realization I would've already been 40 years old. But at least I would've thrown away all my bio lecture notes by then. Liberation.

AND SO, IM STILL STUCK TO NETBALL !#@$%&^* I still have to face these damn months of shit emotional roller coaster. I'm hope I'm alive in May. Sometimes people get caught up in situations not because they can't do it, but for the mere fact they can't decide whether they should do it or not. Ohwell, SA must retain top4 this year. All or nothing. My stakes are way too high. I don't want to waste my efforts. If I'm destined to go to hell, then I'll do whatever it takes to give it my best fight. I reckon motivational talks are useless, especially when I'm both the speaker and the listener. Because at the end of the day, bruise and battered regardless, I'm still stuck in hell.

I know it's been long. HAH. But it isn't exactly my fault that my cursor refuse to stay in this brown box for more than 5 minutes (I do know I control the cursor, though). That's the furthest it can go. Still, I think I deserve some behind-the-scenes credits, no matter how insignificant it may be, for trying my very very best to update. I occassionally sign in, type in a few words, press backspace and sign out of blogger. Okay, like that helps.

Anyways.

2009 is done and over with. What a year it's been. Definitely memorable. Entering SA, orientation, netball trials, making friends, INTERVALS, trainings, season, 2.4km, morning assembly in the CC upper tier, service learning, learning festival, 09S16, every single bit of bus ride 31, oversleeping, the scrutiny of the two biggest kong ba baos in world history, CHICKEN CROISSANT, trophy room, TRACK, lightning risk alert, season closing dinner, farewell, PeeDoubleYou, playing ball in school till 10pm, Derrick Ong basketball challenge, nostalgia. Everything. And, twenty ten, please be good. I need some grace.

You know I'm kinda used to having suicide trainings after all those gruelling tournament seasons over the past years. Yet nothing, nothing over all these years is comparable to whatever I have been or am going to experience. It isn't solely about having a psychopath as a coach, but more of, not seeing the reason to fight for this over-driven coach. No matter how perfect the day is, it always has to end. It applies to a screwed up day too. I figured optimism does help. To see the rainbow, I'll have to bear with the rain, I know downpours linger on and never really stays away, but if holding on is all I could do, then I'll do what it takes to see the sun.

I'm sure, if I'm living through 2010. I'm not living it for myself.

Hi all, I wonder how many are reading this. :)

If my life was ever a storybook, then it'd be the one left on the shelf collecting dust. The portion worth mentioning - arrival of the librarian once in a while to clear that layer of grey.

I did waste my time away the past weeks, ever since FYE ended. Nonetheless, I'm guilt-free. We are all humans and we need a break. Probably the one thing commendable amidst all these mental relaxation/unproductive-ness was my realization of the 'poor-rich' divide in SA. Contrary to the struggle of many to qualify for L.U.E., the ~~insane~~ 4H2s students are tearing their hair apart in a bid to attain that 80 rank-point that is from their POV, wholly realistic. I understand expectations of one are non-imposable on another, but should we shift the focus to being more sensitive towards others? Listening to these insaints whining over their crushed dreams of straight A's is enough a torment for those who failed to promote. What more, attempting a public announcement over their success right in others' face. You seriously don't expect them applaud you, do you? Be ashamed if you do. If you have a problem with containing your happiness, you should consider shutting yourself in the toilet and rejoice with the toilet bowl.

Everyone is occupied with PEEDOUBLEYOU. I admit that it's always demoralizing to get back a WR draft filled with red yet getting reminded of how confident we were previously before handing up our draft. But I'm more than willing to repeat this torture. I really love PW. I don't know how many JC students I've already offended with my previous sentence but that ain't any of my concerns. CLASSYSAVINASHAOKWANG, maybe you guys would never get to see, but 3 of you are the best I could wish for. Let's work harder for OP, PW is more than just a H1 for us. Press on. :)

Netball trainings have resumed. Sometimes I hate myself for being so indecisive, I hate it when I choose to disappoint myself instead of others. Okay. Fine, I think I'm staying in netball. Everyone's fighting, there's no reason for me to leave. Just 7 months more to go. Please keep me going.

I hadn't kept track of time for the past 10 weeks. I was all too occupied with preparing for A div, trainings were frequent, too frequent in fact, like 5 times a week. By the way, my definition of week doesn't include weekends. The only one thing I did, which for god's sake didn't have anything to do with netball, was to drag my feet to school every single morning. Muscle aches don't seem to go away, I did intervals as often as I brush my teeth, oversleeping on bus 31 just to wake up and find myself at TPY interchange at 715 (apparently hopeless to reach school on time) was a 'as-usual' thing, homework accumulated like the unread TIMES magazines at home. I got so sick and tired of the netball court.

But, I miss the rectangular boxes of green and red, and the two iconic kallang netball poles that accompanied at both ends, as well as those who were always there, every fortnight from 6-930pm.

From the first game with SRJC, to the game with HCI, we indeed came a long way. And it's heartening to witness how much the entire team grew together throughout this whole season. The team only formed in February, we struggled with complementing each other on court. Still, we made it through. I'm awfully glad to be a part of this team, and joining SA netball, I would confidently say, is a correct choice. Long live SAJC Netball `09. :)

They say, all good things come to an end. Ms Lin's leaving. I can't explain why, despite her spending little time with the team, I've grown to become very reliant on her. I see hope in her presence, I find a reason for fighting hard in A div. She changed my attitude towards competitive netball. I'm skeptical towards the new coach whose coming, I'm sure he/she wouldn't be able to make me feel the same way. I can feel my drive fading away, but no matter how lousy I feel about it, I lack the motivation to buck up.

I'm glad I have 16 which never fail to make me laugh every single day. HAHA. And a CivicsTutor who talks like a bullet train, always overly concern about the student's welfare, allowing us to take out our ties during practical for the fear that we might just end up strangling ourselves if we were to flip it behind our shoulders LOL. I have a strict but dramatic GP teacher who has a penchant for leaving 4 out of 6 buttons unbuttoned always droning on about homosexuality issues. I have this kawaii Chinese teacher with the kawaii fringe of hers always bombarding us with kawaii Chinese worksheets. And this biology teacher who calls biology students 'a special breed of students'. Maybe I shouldn't lament about life that often afterall. God's been kind, probably.

Anyway, I really miss alot of people. Especially C&G, BLACK, the netballers, my 4a classmates, and the list goes on.

Holidays are here. Time to readjust my focus back to studying. No more using 'tournament period' as an excuse, oh well how sad. I hate holiday lectures to the core. Man. :( I'm in SA comlab1 now, and then this teacher's depriving me of playing bejeweled on the computer, Zenia's mad over her Boys Over Flowers Korean Version.

I don't know when I'll be back to blog, but I doubt its anytime soon. My friends out there, please tell me you miss me and you want to meet me. HAHA :)

HAHAHA I'm entering another phase of my life called learning how to b_____ c_____. LOL. Leeying's sitting beside me eating her noodles, umm. Guys, pardon me 'cos I'm so pressed for time recently, training almost everyday, and having to deal with emotional roller coasters, its really not easy. That's a big part of the reason why I haven't been blogging. As for the small part, I'm sure you guys understand what I mean by 'too many things to blog till you don't know where to start'.

Awfully glad that I met up with fellow secondary class mates, like 4A at Sentosa. All the camwhoring, stupid forfeits, mass games and captain-ball-by-the-beach, its love. I've got fantastic classmates in 09S16 and they've really been a great blessing to me. With Zenia and Shaokwang always fooling around, 16 will never be boring. ^^

I played, in my opinion, one of the worst games when SA was up against RJ, I don't know how pressure creeps in despite my desparate attempts at those pathetic self-encouragement (or you can call it self-denial), I hate myself for always being void of confidence. You might not be really fantastic, but you're good enough to be on court, fighting for SA. In 2 days' time, we'll be playing AC. Just as what Ms Lin said, RJ's game is a learning process, what's most important is how you're gonna pick yourself up. But, does it really not matter like how the way people made it out to be? Whatever it is, wednesday I'm gonna make it up.

JC life's a mad dash. I hope I don't burn out all too soon.

Other than beloved lectures and lovely tutorials (especially those 1.5 hours ones) which I really wouldn't want to miss, my life revolves around JUMPING FOR JOY, netball trainings, intervals, and I'm proud to say, I'm increasingly exposed to ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES and my knowledge on it is EXPANDING. HAHAHA IT'S REALLY VERY FUNNY. LOL. Last but not least, 31 bus trips home. ^^

I'm contented with life as it is. And I seriously hope it stays this way. For just slightly a little shorter than forever. But maybe things ain't gonna last. Still, I'm only concerned with now. =)

I had enough of feeling as though I only slept for 15 minutes everyday when I open my eyes at 5:15am. So, it's bedtime.

Time didn't wait for me - not that I weren't silently praying for it to go on certain occasions - it made a 100m dash. Or perhaps everything around me has been so fast-paced that my eyes were too busy to follow, or even notice. Realization, it came too late and I hate it however much as I wished it could hit me sooner, earlier.

I would be reminded of Noel whenever I hear scotchtapes go ziak ziak ziak. Acknowledging the fact that it would be the last time that I would be putting up with the oversized, hollow cargo lift that's forever overwhelmed with the smell of cardboard didn't ease that tinge of melancholy, in fact it only made it worse. Despite my reluctance to face anymore hampers for any length of time, I'd rather time didn't just pass, like that. I'm an oxymoron, I know.

Whatever it is, today was great. Before today, its impossible to say that Noel is fun. We (the packers who came) could wait up to hours just for a work order, with a quantity of, umm..1. You can never imagine that extent of elation when we see ONE PATHETIC HAMPER coming our way(I wrapped 5 hampers over a span of 10 hours). Thus we gathered together, for the first time in two months, to chitchatcomplaintalklaughjoke. HAHA. Ohyes we had some sort of a mini party, thanks to the considerable amount of leftovers - snacks/tidbits/treats. Most were damaged/crushed, but it didn't matter, we ate them all. LOL.

Then Kenneth came up with the idea of a miniature new year hamper. Contents: whatever that's lucky enough to escape our stomach - which weren't alot. But, its kawaii-nehhs! :D

Lunchtime:

Huijia- 'Eh buy things back to eat leh, later rot at Noel again. Buay tahan leh.'

Kenneth- 'What you want? Fruits ah?'

Xinling- 'But eat fruits abit weird leh.'

I had a really hard time deciding between SAJC and VJC, not that I can guarantee myself a place in V but.. (If there's this speech/thought bubble popping out of nowhere now, saying 'Huh of course VJC la cmon' or you start to wonder whether my brain's whacked, then I'm so sorry but you just don't understand me well enough to know what's going on in my head) That's wasn't the hardest part, though. I felt like a complete fool when they just dismissed my decision as though it was a joke - one that apparently got them highly amused. Maybe it was totally absurd that someone who would choose SAJC over VJC existed. Pure stupidity, they'd say.

Then I managed to grab probably 3 seconds of the lives of almost all the VeeJay students who walked past me on my way to VJ with C&G. Obviously a purple highlight was beyond what they could handle. Instantly I sensed what was forming in their minds - severely biased opinions. The teacher-in-charge, Ms Teo, didn't like me, I saw it coming anyway. Judgemental people. But it wasn't as if her opinions bothered me. She offered me a great deal of hostility, I wasn't the only who felt so thus it's definitely not over-sensitivity on my part. Somewhat I was relieved that I didn't choose the theoretically correct path 'cos that would've sent me down to hell straight away. I'm sure you can picture vicious Ms-Teo arrows directing at me. LOL.

Went down to support the C div's first zonal game. So apart from Elizabeth's hilarious act on court (HAHA CIHUI I KNOW YOU KNOW), my heart kinda ached, perhaps just for that split second, though I know it lasted for much longer. Sorry for the change of mood but yes, I don't know what's happening to AHS Netball. No longer the same level of discipline, intensity, mindset. They don't feel how we feel. Whenever they make mistakes on court, they appeared nonchalent, we felt the impact. I know it sounds bullshit 'cos we aren't the ones playing but.. And there's one thing which I doubt I can ever figure out in my life. 4 years we've fought so hard against TKGS, yet never returned victorious once, not even once. Ironically, our juniors clinched the win, with what I assume, luck. Sometimes I fail to convince myself that life's fair. :(

If the amount of energy left within me was converted into battery life, it'd read 5% the night after I finished Blaze. Took 196 home alone. I fell asleep. And when I woke up, there was no one left in the bus. Not even the bus driver. They hella forgot about me and I was locked inside that rectangular thing with four wheels for goddamn long. Never did it dawn on me that I was honestly quite tan to the extent that nobody could see me till when I tried asking for help, like waving to whoever that's walking outside. None of them saw me. I got really traumatized by this fact but at that point of time, I knew I had no time to think of miscellaneous stuff. So desparate times call for desparate measures, I started banging on the windows(?) like an idiot 'cos I could spend a lifetime in that bus if I continued, erm waving. (Whatever face). I know whoever that's reading this is really L-O-L-ing but hey I seriously don't have a choice! I wonder why I always do stupid things. Personally I'm fine with it. Point is, I blog about them.

I just emptied my fridge. Oh god.

Now sportsclass chalet is over,
the chills of 12th Jan spread like venom through my body.
Not the fear of crushed hopes,
just the roller-coaster ride/sudden severe stomachache/butterflies in stomach while waiting,
because it just boils down to - there's nothing you can do about it.
At least there's still Lou's 17th birthday - the last enjoy-life moment before doomsday.

I'll rewind back to three days ago.

Sportsclass chalet was memorable. Attendance was wow. Loud and crazy. Guys running around the chalet half naked, indian poker strip poker, talking throughout the night fighting against the heavy eyelids, sleeping on chairs in all sorts of uncomfortable positions, mini in-between along the corridor with largest bet being 50 cents, Alicia eating nutella cos she got too hungry, clearing the kitchen area with Fatimah LOL, playing ball, ordering mac delivery in the wee hours, everyone cramming in the hall watching 'don't forget the lyrics' and laughing at the girl who don't know that the song ' I want it that way' existed, uno stacko, monopoly till I ended up bankrupt, cards, uno with everyone forming allies against cihui, and the disappointment when faith betrays you, as well as dustbinscotchtape&doublesidedtape.

4-6 hours of sleep in 2 days+not eating for 26 hours+halfday at noel were out to kill. I basically died. So I chose the easy way out of skipping blaze, sleeping till afternoon this morning.

I just have the feeling that I would forget all about getting a black hairspray. Then DrBoon will stare at me with her big eyes and dilated pupils, you see steam coming out of her ears cos she's pissed to the brim and wonder why I'm even a part of anglican high. Then I would go ohshit but optimism tells me that she might be colorblind afterall. V^^V

Talking about AnglicanHigh. Went back to visit cos it was cca selection day and thankfully, nothing much had changed except for the fact that there's only one recess left, 30 mins only!! Though I'm being extremely sarcastic over here, truth is, I do have a sense of belonging towards Anglican. Towards everything that I've gone through in my 4 years, no authorities included(eg the principal).

I tore scotchtape with my thumb and forefinger,

The characters in StayAlive have got really cool names,

Hutch, October (Then all of a sudden Cihui became September, Geraldine's december and I'm July lol), Swink, Phineus..

That's when Geraldine and I started to have some problems with each other LOL.

The first blaze training in '09 was amazing, to my surprise.

Though I was in a pretty bad shape - standing the entire day and still sick (two weeks and counting zz),

and that training was really a killer,

I enjoyed every single bit of it.

Haven't got that run-till-you-drop feeling for awhile, so the fire sort of rekindled.

Idk when it's going off again but right now, it's on, and that's all I need.

Now it's time to clear those holy books that've been chucked aside since forever.

And we stood helplessly, as 08 become history. All I remembered was running aimlessly towards our countdown destination, it seemed to take forever. Then we realised we couldn't make it in time, so we stopped in the middle of a random road and then 3, 2, 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR. LOL. Right then, I recalled counting down to 08. It was like yesterday.

08's unbelievable. Highs and lows during the tournament period, mye prelims and finally the big o, then you deal with the worst - separation. I prayed that this year wouldn't come, and now, it's gone. Woah. 4A's history. I know everybody's going 'awww' right infront of their com. But hey, that's life.

Anyway.

I actually put up with my strongest aversion in life just for one sentence from SK. Clan member you thrashed me hands down. (Y) Yes so I went squeeeeeeeeeeezing with the crowd, so close to hyperventilating and maybe next year I'll bring a mask because the smokers are inconsiderate they exhale right in your face. Not exactly my ideal way of welcoming 09 but a great experience nonetheless. Who knows, I might be standing right in the middle of clarkquay next year, before I could react to it and perhaps, the image of me standing in the middle of a random road would pop into my mind.

Atmosphere was awesome people were literally going crazy. Louis and Junzhi started dancing out of nowhere LOL. We did nonsensical stuff for 1 plus hour and couldn't get enough of it. HAHA. But you know cinderella's fairytale ends at 12 so we knocked ourselves back to earth pretty soon. NO FUN.

My life is pretty much in a mess right now. My 3-in-1's (cough+sore throat+flu) getting stuck to me, and it feels like I'm gonna be stuck with it forever. 4days3nights were disappointing, but I guess I shall not dwell on it since it's already over. O-V-E-R and done with.

I spent friday night talking to black, surviving on instant noodles how nice ha ha ha, talked the whole night with cihui on saturday, and talked to black again on sunday night.

December - a drain my blood dry month because it's my mum's birthday it's geraldine's birthday and yada yada...the list goes on.

When I woke up the next day after working for Noel (overtime on the first day (Y) I clocked a total of 14 hours non-stop hampers wrapping, standing. (Y)(Y) ), I wished I were dead. Amazing. I couldn't even walk properly. And both my arms were sore, very very sore. However, working at Noel gives me a great sense of satisfaction, and I guess that's what I need to get me through. Bring on the overtime(s), I so need $$$. I think my face's becoming $_$ (looks cool). HAHA. Nike backpack Adidas bag Netball and all that jazz, I'm coming. ^^

Steamboat for two consecutive days didn't turn out that bad. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GERALDINE! <3 HAHA not to mention Louisa's turning 17 in less than, say, a month. LOL.

Anyway I'm on a movie spree. Watched 2 movies in 3 days. OKAY NOT EXACTLY A SPREEEE BUT STILL compared to the old me who watches a movie in 3 years. Yes, like WOW. Impressive eh. HAHA. I believe all the unsuccessful job applications really got me nuts. Bolt was a great movie, (no bolt's a dog not a movie HAHAHA) and it kinda erased the dog-phobia I have. At least now, I no longer think of dogs as animals which only go around barking and screaming their tongues off at strangers. Yes I like cats too. Hamsters included.

I've straightened out my thoughts, too. No amount of self-pity's gonna get me anywhere. So yes, I'm gonna pick myself up like how I always do. I'm gonna grab any job and go. Like when you're hungry you don't really care whether you're eating chicken ass/chicken drumstick. They're all parts of a chicken and at least you get to eat the chicken. (Think of the African children) I can assure that you'll gobble up a chicken head if you haven't eaten for days too. (Provided you're still hungry because you know when you've starved yourself long enough, you're not hungry anymore) Still I pray that the chicken head don't get stuck when it's halfway down your oesophagus. Quarantine freaked the walnut out of me. Holy macaroni. Before the movie, I was pulling my cousin towards the counter, he was damn reluctant because he has a strong aversion towards such shows (then I was still wondering if he would scream because it'd really be damn funny and much more entertaining compared to the sudden appearance of a mutated rabbies human on the screen LOL) Ultimately I convinced, or rather, tricked him into the cinema HAHAHA. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard laughters coming from the seats at the back when the mutated rabbies(?) monster was coming out. Sadists, I concluded. After the movie I was the one that freaked out screaming like an idiot and he seemed more relaxed than before the movie (#@^%!&*) My god. What a loser. HAHA.

Cycling was superduper fun! Especially talking about things you've kept within for so long. Complaining gossiping whining whatevering. I reckon its good to pour out your soul every once in a while. Lunch at Sakae was a complete comedy. I'm a wonderful comedian. Went into sakae on saturday for their buffet lunch. Hilarious. Oh so happily thinking it was a buffet, I called the waitress over and ordered gyoza, ONLY. She gave me that 'Are you for real' face so I followed after and returned a wide smile, saying thanks. And my cousin asked the same waitress for chopsticks. (I think she thinks we're weirdos) So the poor girl, much as she wanted to laugh, and at the same time probably taking pity on our mountain-tortoiseness, pointed to the box right beside my cousin. Laugh out very very loud. I burst out laughing. After for what seemed like eons, we finally realised that there's no BUFFET for the day. So fighting against the embarrassment, we flipped through the menu asap. So when our food came, ohmygod trust me that bowl which they use for ramen is bigger than my head. (considering that my head's not very small it's rather fascinating isn't it LOL) Yes I started laughing again.

Overwhelmed with guilt.

I've been far too absorbed in my own thoughts recently. Things are going through my mind in lumps, simultaneously. Seemingly detached from the world. Putting on the pretence of a listener when I have no idea whatever whoever's talking about. At the very least, I still remember to nod my head at appropriate times. Honestly, I'm struggling with that.

Blaze lost to Nike. Sometimes I wonder if my absence would make things better. Yes we do look like we can complement each other on court, but only on the surface. Despite disparities in our playing styles, we don't seem to make any conscious effort to work them out. Leaving them the way it is, passively waiting for each other to take the initiative to adapt to each other's style. That's our definition of effort. A fertile one at that. So why bother to put up a worthless struggle. All the attempts of concealing our inability to fit into each other, left me sick and tired.

Nonetheless, Cihui's presence was comforting. I guess there'll always be a point of time when we start to question ourselves as to what/who exactly are we hanging in there for. There don't seem to be any purpose. And sometimes looking back, we realised how much we've changed, the reason we're working for had already cease to exist. Many a time, they disappear unknowingly. Then you start to wonder why.

Loving something isn't about possessing it. Having it with you might not make you love it more. ALL THESE WHILE, I've been trying my utmost best to convince myself that I must never give up netball. Because giving up the thing that you love is worse than armaggedon. Without it, you'll never be who you are anymore. But I know by holding on to it, I'll grow to hate . A time-bomb which I have ample time to get rid of, it doesn't make things easier. The joy I once experienced is becoming more of a heavy responsibility. I'd rather end it now, at least I remember netball as a joy.

Fact is, I've never seen a XBOX until yesterday. Balling plans were replaced by house visit to Juncheng's place. So if I were registered in WCG - under the category of Halo, if Halo was even included under WCG that is - I'd be the worst candidate in history. I think they dropped me under the 'beyond-hope' category. They had to resort to starting me with shooting at stationary targets.

Did I mention I had difficulties aiming my sniper at the stationary targets?
Awfully disgraced, I am. Perhaps some hands-coordination practises will do me good.

The word to describe Junzhi's play would be 'ownage'. Basically he killed, no, massacred all of us. He killed Juncheng before Juncheng even appeared. With one shot. For your information, he trained his accuracy by shooting the birds, speck of mobile tiny black dots. We stared in disbelief. Cursed at his gay-ness. While he turned his character away, nonchalent. It's ownage, to that extent. lol.

I must have either walked past a black cat or under a ladder, sometime which I don't remember. Because I've been down on luck recently. It's making my blood boil and this untimely retarded spastic irritating unlucky streak or whatsoever you call it is turning my life upside down, and its forcing me to kill someone to release my frustrations, every single second. Period.

To begin with, Audition has died on me. Fine. I've been sacrificing my sleep past days, just to get its ass working again, but it failed. Fine. My phone died on me today, too, when I needed it the mostttttt. Bottomline. I'm cash-strapped, because of birthday bombs, and things which I consider 'miscellaneous'. It devastated my wallet.

Still, Teacher's day was awesome. Excluding MsCheong's over-reaction. Exluding what they call games. Excluding a part of me - I don't know how dominant that part might be - that I yearned for nothing more than sleep. Joel really worked the crowd, though I still couldn't get over the fact that he posed like a prom queen during photo-taking. And that he even got nominated.

I'm faced with tons of decisions these days. Teenage life, invariably. My self-confidence reflects a negative. But I guess I did hide it well, at least from everyone. I force myself to accept, what I know I would definitely be unable to. Never give up on the things you love, because you will never be the same without it. Yet, persistence does backfire.

Vivien and I were still waiting for the mrt to leave tanah merah, which meant that it was a lost cause.

All of a sudden, it was both of us against the entire world. 17 just refuses to appear. The MRT's door shut right in front of Vivien's face. I watched the doors of the MRT which could get us through in time closing right before me, knowing that the next train will only arrive 10 minutes later, yet there was nothing I could do. We ran up the 2 longggggg escalators which left us breathless. Running after the skytrain just to miss it by a few seconds, when the next one is 5 minutes later and we were already racing against time.

By the time I saw Fuseng, there was nothing that I could used or do to show my appreciation/relief/gratefulness except crying. I didn't expect that reaction from myself, I thought I would only be utterly speechless if I managed to see him, but the next thing I knew was that I was crying and panting. That feeling of making it in time despite everything around us which seemed to hint that we're not gonna make it through.

Though till now, there's still a tinge of melancholy.

The 43rd National Day is, wonderful. I love it we unite and do things together. We worked the cheer like magic! :D That kind of satisfaction, you'll never know unless you experience it. We didn't work our ass out for this NDP just because its crucial for page28. Neither did we do it to overpower some classes. We did it because it was our last item we put up, as a class, altogether. I was wondering why Andrea didn't go down for recess when she claimed she was very very hungry earlier on. Then lend my phone from me to activate my normal phone mode. A birthday sms came in and I realise silent mode wasn't activated. So I told Black and she saved the day. Turned out that Andrea has changed my ringtone to 'Sesame street-Happy birthday' HAH. So Fionna called me and the song started playing. Then the girls came in with a mango! <3

To celebrate the 10 gruelling days with no freedom which was finally done and over with, and to pacify our bruised ego after going through an ordeal called the 'Chemistry MCQs', 4A girls went to eat down the whole of sakae at Marina Square, yes including the conveyor belt.

Decided on 4pm at sakae, went to play ball with janice, perle, vivien, sk, weijian at the basketball court because we still had time to spare. Soon after, Shiyi and Leo( HAHAHA perle, cancer came too.) I thought it was a perfect plan as the only way to lessen my guilt which gonna accumulate when I stuff sushis down my throat is to burn before I binge.

The entire 2-3 hours spent in sakae was hella fun. We separated into 2 tables, and somehow we were in the which-table-eats-the-most compeition. Yes logically, we started our food binge.

Just a short update on the past few days.

Basically, I ruined my own chance. I will learn how to write in pen instead of pencil from now and not repeat my mistake again. It was realllllllly dumb.

Currently, SK and I are obsessed with online games, those no-brainers that you find on miniclips etc. lol. It's fun okay. Try it out when you have the time, its awesome, guarantee plus chop stamp. :)

And, I can't wait for 12pm to strike tomorrow, that's when everyone is gonna be a happy kid, once again. :D Ohmygod, I can barely hold my excitement! ^^

Before the MYEs came I thought I could take the disappointment from all the B&C grades because I really wasn't in the mood to study. Yet every night before the next paper, somehow I'll insist on finishing the syllabus before going to sleep. Though I know Heaven does not appreciate and reward last minute work, somehow I just felt that I ought to study, not in hope of acing the papers, but at least to pacify my guilt.

No matter how I'm going to fare for MYEs, I promise a 100% all the way till O levels. It was until now that I realised I hated the feeling of rapidly flipping through all the pages and not attempt any questions because I didn't know how to so much. I dread feeling that way, it's like a living nightmare. I just couldn't be so happy-go-lucky.

Played with NCS late wednesday night. Had to carry on with the game though it was raining and the ground felt as though it was for ice-skating purposes. Lost 36-25. You shouted at me without even understanding my reasons. I've disappoint you at the start but I fought for you till the end. Your disappointment's gone, but the impact on me stays. Thanks for making me realise that I couldn't have been more dumb than ever.

So Tan cihui was telling us about Tanya mistaking her for her senior, Aow Cihui when Tan cihui smsed her to ask about her ankle condition.

Cihui: At first I thought it was a typo error (Tanya typed 'Aowci' in her sms to cihui, 'Aowci' is most probably a nickname/shortform which cihui couldnt figure and thus thought it was a typo error, lol)

Emelda, the no.1 person on my hate-list in Blaze, the person who has the cultivated-since-fillions-years-ago ultimate sarcasm, the one with the conceited face, the one who is not really impressive but still got into ENL division1, the one who returned to Blaze as easy as ABC though she already left months ago.

Then we badly needed to dispose all the postcards of the coming netball league because the seniors gave us one whole stack and nobody's willing to keep all. As much as you wouldn't believe, Cihui&Leeying&Elize and I went to distribute the postcards at Lavender MRT station. Yes those people whom you quicken your steps when you see because you're totally not interested in those flyers of theirs. HAH. We posed as them and got rid of the postcards in 15 minutes. Sweet! :D Oh before I forget, we saw one postcard that was badly squashed and abandoned at the side of the bench as we walked along the MRT platform, lolol.

badly regretted not bringing my earpiece because I took a long bus ride (Dropped the whole idea of bringing my earpiece along as I was late. Oversleeping is the root of all evil.);
did not buy any curry puffs/shepherd's pie despite being greatly tempted by it;
just knew that rochelle might not be going for the carnival;

But today (Y) because I..

conquered KINEMATICS and THE MOLE with black;
had bread for lunch ^^;
felt really accomplished for doing an awesome job in decorating the gift box;
saw a dress that both me and black reallllly like (but it was a whopping $129.90);
am going to play with Kelyn's batch in the carnival tomorrow with Cihui&Geraldine (It's been a long time since 3 of us had some serious bonding);
am going to play happily like a kid on court tomorrow =DDDDDD ;

Sooner or later I'm going to chop off my hands and scotch-tape/elephant glue my phone to my ear because I conveniently, in my subconscious pressed "Turn off" when my alarm rang, AGAIN. *&!^%$@#

Studied with Vivien in school today, at a time like 915 on a Saturday morning. Classroom locked, GO closed, Staff Room closed, left with no alternatives other than migrating to the studying area outside library. I've got to admit that its rather conducive because nearly no one was there to disrupt our studying except for some birds that flew in here and there and make a great deal of noise. AH ENG is slacking again, he wasn't there to open the doors, the hella doors that kept my mighty iraq-kuwait essay beyond my reach.

Halfway through the fall of Venice, Vivien and I got stuck. Being extremely indecisive people, we resorted to the most primitive way to decide who should start the ball-rolling.

Vivien: "Okay scissors paper stone, winner decide"
Me: "Okay. Scissors paper stone!"
(Vivien uses scissors, I used paper, both of us stoned for a moment)
Vivien: "OH NO!!!"
Me: "HAHAHA, faster decide. (wishfully thinking that I've cleverly gotten myself out of shit)"

It rained and I didn't go for ENL. They still thrashed the opponents anyway! ^^ Went to play ball with Vivien instead. I wasn't sure whether she was ice-skating/playing netball, HAHAHAHA.

It's been insane whacking, ramming, dribbling, smacking basketball with the balling clique once again, today! The day started off screwed to the pacific ocean because the school ~~cleverly~~, ~~accidentally~~, deliberately deprived us of our much-anticipated PE. OH I DISLIKE THEM. PE was what kept me going on a Friday morning, satisfied about burning some calories in the afternoon, prevented me from lamenting about Blaze at night. And so, it was replaced with some sort of closing speech by beloved Boon. Cheong almost looked like a witch except that she wasn't sitting on any broom, but a chair. HAH.

Mr Chan: "Sec4s, thanks for crashing the ACP." Thumbs up (Y)(Y)

The poor councillor leading the pledge(in malay) fumbled and forgot her lines. It caused a big hoo-ha, and she was up-down-left-right-centre embarrassed. For one I didn't laugh. Hey it's DEJAVU.

I was chosen to represent my class in the Show And Tell competition(?) I forgot when, probably primary3. Adrenaline rush, heart beating like it's never gonna beat again, breaking out in cold sweat. Walked up the stage with my prized possession, i.e. stickers. (Seriously calls for a -.-) For your information, I'm a sticker fanatic when I was young but it sort of died away. Soon I ran out of words and ideas (you know I really can't speak English off the cut), and I just stared at the audience. With kind intentions, my form teacher tried to help. However as I didn't get the cue, and being the usual dumb xinling, I said "Huh" right into the microphone and it blasted through the entire hall. Head-to-toe embarrassed, my head lie low and walked down. I'm going to be laughed at for 3 million years. Enough of malu-ness.

Went back to class disappointed, and Vivien regretted not skipping school. Seating arrangement was changed and I've moved to a foreign site. I don't really like the seat because

It's the 3rd row and my eyesight's not perfect.
I feel insecure because I'm enclosed.
That's the place where insect/flying creatures thrive (Halfway through class, a bee might just fly past your ear with that distinctive buzz)

Basically I spent Physics talking to Vivien, constructive topics. HAH. Maths test was rather okay, considering the fact that I browsed through the textbook, preparing to scrape through everything before chionging studies. After which, Vivien and I went to stadium to take ball, initially it was just as simple as taking ball, but we ended up playing there. Then we talked again and concluded that we can't express ourselves well enough to let each other understand what we really want.

After which, met up with the rest to play ball at our usual hunt, just that we had alot more people today. Andrea, Vivien, Perle, Janice, SK, Jiajie, Jerome, Kiat hoh, Larry, Junzhi. Either they're lack of salt or they're just too muscular, the guys kept experiencing cramps, caused Jerome to become a half-crippled, LOL. You should've seen the way he played, it was hilarious. Hi blogger, thanks for serving me still, despite abandoning you halfway for livejournal. Now xinling proudly presents to you, her 6 hours of hardwork! TA-DA! My new blog's done! Finally. ^^

It's e-learning day. Apparently, the system crashed and everyone was happy like crazy. As a matter of fact, the school doesn't seem to think before they act. The aim of e-learning day is to prepare us for emergencies like epidemic-outbreak, so that we can still access lessons as per normal back at home when school ceases operation. For the sec4s, although there's still half a year to go, but we've already finished our syllabus, therefore putting us through this e-learning day is, to put it bluntly, furtile and pointless. I'm waiting for the day which they attain enlightenment. Time before that, we'll just have to suffer. To make things worse, the school had recently adopted a fantabulous scheme, i.e. pasteing "countdown-to-major-exams" information sheets all around the school, even the toilets. They print a new sheet everyday because the date will no longer be accurate the next day. You can imagine how many trees they've murdered with their excellent plan. Being as generous as they seems with the usage of paper, the school collects money from us to print worksheets for us. Are these supposed to come out from someone gifted, though partially deaf and blind?
